 Wisteria coming through
New hens, and beans under the cloche

This year we're growing potatoes, beans, peas, beetroot, squash, courgettes, carrots, parsnips, swede and turnips, spring onions, lettuce and radishes.

 Rhubarb growing well....
Broad beans coming on a few weeks later

Look at all the apple blossom against the wall!

Potatoes are in, but not yet showing
Neil is emptying the old pots and baskets
Quite the production line!
Hard at work doing the hanging baskets (well, actually taking a photo at this point!) - watch this space...

The Greenhouse April/May 2013

The tomatoes are growing - wait for the next update in June...

Early May and then late May
New border coming along, the plants are starting to grow, plus we bought some Geraniums and sowed some annual seeds
Tomato plants waiting to be potted up...

I love this Iris
 Check out my Aliums!

Salvia from france just coming into flower

My Forget Me Not are looking good this year, taking over from the Grrape Hyacinths that have finished now
The Lilac is growing quite big now.
 View from the rooftop

My 'purple' corner, not looking very purple! You can just about make out the Honesty and the Alyssum I grew is looking good.

Garden in early May 2013

Wish I could find the label for this. I's like a campion. I'll hav eot dig through my old seed packets and remind myself.
Peonies not quite out yet.
Lots of flowers on this pear tree this year - looks like Neil's treatment last year worked.

You can just about make out the window boxes fullof pansies - really lovely to smell and see when you walk up the path
Seb patrolling his territory
The hedge is just starting to sprout..
Some of the few tulips that survived the winter. Still probably somehting else survived by eating them!

Lovely Purple tulips came up again

I love these Grape Hyacinths
The Wallflowers smell just fantastic
New border is coming along, still a bit empty though!
All Neil's hard work filling the pots with bulns paid off.

Just dug out from the lawn, soil prepared and ready to plant up.
Before plantingAfter planting

First plants in, these are nearly allmine, grown from seed, just the Salvias that were bought in France.

Here is the start of our new border - April 2013. Looks a bit bare, and it was a lot of work!
